Masatoshi Yamabayashi is Chief Executive Officer of SPP Technologies Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd.). He has extensive experience in aerospace, defense, and advanced technologies within the Sumitomo group.
Mr. Yamabayashi began his career at Sumitomo Corporation in 1999, serving in the Aerospace and Construction Machinery departments. In 2015, he was appointed Aerospace & Defense Division Director at Sumitomo Corporation of Americas. He later joined Sumitomo Precision Products Co., Ltd. (SPP), where he held several leadership roles including Manager of the Aerospace Strategic Planning Department and Deputy General Manager of both the Aerospace Manufacturing and Aerospace Sales & Marketing departments, while also serving as Assistant to the General Manager of the Defense, Space & Technologies Strategic Business Unit of Sumitomo Corporation. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Sales & Marketing Division at Sumisho Aero-Systems Corporation.
Mr. Yamabayashi received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Osaka University.
